Studio Ros

Contact

How to reach the studio, and what to send with a commission enquiry.

Note: draft copy, written for Natasha to review and adjust before it goes live. The contact details and reply times here are placeholders until she confirms them.

Reaching me

Email is the only channel I read properly: studio@studioros.example

I am in the studio most weekdays and I answer messages in one sitting, usually in the evening. Expect a reply within two working days. If a week goes by without one, the message did not arrive — send it again rather than assuming I am ignoring you. It happens more than it should.

I do not take enquiries by direct message on social platforms. Things get lost there and I would rather not lose yours.

About a piece you have bought

Give me the piece name and roughly when it arrived. If it is a damage or condition question, photographs in daylight, including one of the whole object for scale.

Commission enquiries

Send these in one email rather than in pieces. It saves a week of back and forth. Include:

  • Dimensions, or the space it has to sit in. A photograph of the shelf, wall or table is more useful than a measurement.
  • Orientation — freestanding, wall-hung, or lying flat.
  • Finish — fully polished, or cast-textured on the back and sides.
  • Whether you want a specific web. Some people bring their own: a shed they are clearing, a cellar in a house being sold. I can usually work with that if it is intact and dry, and I will tell you honestly if it is not.
  • Your deadline, if there is one, and whether it is real. Curing does not negotiate.
  • A budget range. I would rather show you what is possible inside it than quote you something you were never going to buy.

I will come back with a price, a timeline, and whether I think it will actually work. Sometimes the answer is that the web you have will not survive the pour, and I say so early.
